Fourth Treat

Sorry for the delay in post wasn't feeling very well last week
however we were able to do another event this past weekend
This time we had a tower of brownies, coconut macaroons, chocolate chip cookies and peppermint chocolate chip cookies.
Of course everything was a great hit but so were the coconut macaroons!
Everyone raved about the consistency of them, perfect soft to crunchy ratio

Third Treat

Success! We think we have had some success finding a chocolate chip recipe with the perfect consistency, chewy on the inside crispy on the outside. . . Although we feel like we need to try this recipe again (we put too many chocolate chips never a bad idea but we couldn't tell if the consistency was due to the amount of chocolate chips or the actually dough)

We also noticed that when you bake your cookies if your dough looks more jagged and uneven it will look like the cookie on the left. However if you roll it into a smooth ball it will look like the cookie on the right . . . we personally think the one on the right looks more like a REAL chocolate chip cookie. . . my mouth is watering just thinking about them

Second Treat

Here is our second treat! Chocolate chip cookies!

We have been on a quest to find a really good chocolate chip recipe.This time we tried the same recipe between the two of us but changed the ingredients such as the type of butter, vanilla and chocolate chips. They both tasted yummy but it actually made a very big difference in taste and consistency! However I think we are still on the quest to find the best chocolate chip cookie recipe.

We used bigger chocolate chips on this one and baked them thinner and bigger.
These were lighter and crispier!


With these we used smaller chocolate chips and made them thicker but smaller.
These ended up being a little bit chewier.

NYU First Run Festival

The debut of our customized treat bags for the NYU film festival!
The fudgy brownies were a great hit as well.
